Annual District Dinner Cancelled Due To Lack of Participation

Posted by gtaylor on Jan 19 2018 - 6:44am

It is with deep regret that the Committee has decided the need to cancel the annual District Dinner scheduled for Jan 26th 2018. The theme of the event, recognizing the merging of the two smaller districts representing the northern and southern portions of southwestern Orange County Council, was to be “United We Stand”. Unfortunately we didn’t stand in numerical strength. The low number of reservations received did not make it economically or logistically feasible to hold the event.

The District Committee will study options well before next year’s event which could include time of year, location, marketing, and programing. We welcome any constructive responses or ideas to improve future events. What would you like to see?

Those who had already sent in money will be contacted in order to facilitate a refund.

Thank you for your understanding.
