The Trainer's Edge

PURPOSE: The Trainer’s EDGE course is to provide and help develop the platform skills of a trainer. This course is intended to “train the trainer” on behaviors and resources while offering hands-on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: It is meant to supplement the practice offered through Wood Badge and NYLT staff development, with a focus on the participant, while raising the level of skill a trainer brings to the staff experience. However, the course is open to any Scouter who desires to become a better trainer, presenter or leader.

Each participate is to prepare a 10 to 12 minute presentation on any Scouting related subject of their choice.

DATE: August 26, 2014, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. (Registration begins at 7:30 am)

WHERE: Laguna Niguel LDS Church, 28291 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Niguel (Alicia Pkwy @ Wood Canyon Wilderness Park.)

COST: $15 – Lunch is included

UNIFORM: Scout Field Uniform
